ENGINE, TRANSMISSION AND REAR AXLE COMBINATIONS

This chart was the guide on what you could or could not order on a Nova. Many versions of this chart were published during the model year. This one is notable as it does show the availability of the 4.10, 4.56, and 4.88 ratios only for the L48. Notice the low horsepower 350 is the LM1 not the L65 as see later in the model year. The name 3-Speed Automatic is used instead of Turbo Hydra-matic. The Special 3-Speed is called out as MC1. The L34 lists Air Conditioning ratios even though big block Air Conditioning never made it into production on the Nova. Also looks like the L34 might have been considered for 4.10, 4.56, and 4.88 ratios. See the extra lines under Spec.
